New York Jets 23, New York Giants 20
Alright folks, the new normal is Jasper Brinkley getting a lot of tackles, and that's something you and I will have to get used to. Brinkley had another productive day with five tackles, continuing the have a much, much better second half than first half of the season.
Cincinnati Bengals 37, Cleveland Browns 3
Houston Texans 21, Buffalo Bills 30
Jadeveon Clowney finally had himself a really nice game, ending up with three tackles and the Texans' lone sack. Johnathan Joseph pitched in with three tackles of his own, as well as a pass deflection. On the Bills side, Stephon Gilmore ended up with just two tackles, but takes home the W.
Atlanta Falcons 19, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23
Patty time! Our man Patrick DiMarco ended up with two catches for 18 yards in a losing effort. The good news is that he's a swell guy.
San Francisco 49ers 26, Chicago Bears 20 (OT)
Bruce Ellington continues to have bad luck on screen passes, nabbing his lone catch of the day on that route, but for zero yards. He had a bit better luck on kick returns, bringing back four for 98 yards, but whiffed on punt returns, with three for zero yards. Alshon Jeffery had a fairly rough day himself. Yes, he had 85 yards receiving on four catches, but he was targeted twelve times, and didn't have a touchdown catch. That's eight balls that could've found a loving home in Alshon's arms, but tragically did not.
Seattle Seahawks 38, Minnesota Vikings 7
One look at the scoreboard, and you can tell that basically the entire Vikings' secondary had a bad day. Captain Munnerlyn was no exception to this, as he exited the game with just two tackles to his stat line.
Jacksonville Jaguars 39, Tennessee Titans 42
Okay, so maybe it was a total touchdown fest in Tennessee, but those touchdowns needed extra points, gosh darn it! Thankfully, Ryan Succop was on the scene and made all six. Way to go, Ryan!
Baltimore Ravens 13, Miami Dolphins 15
Arizona Cardinals 27, St. Louis Rams 3
Jared Cook had a performance worthy of the Rams offense, which is to say a pretty lame one. Three catches for 22 yards on nine targets for Cook in this one. To be fair, Nick Foles is his quarterback. Really can't emphasize that enough.
Denver Broncos 17, San Diego Chargers 3
Darian Stewart wasn't laying out the hits, per say, but he was dishing out the swats. Stewart had two tackles and two pass deflections on the day. His fellow Gamecock, Melvin Ingram, bounced back from recording no stats last week to dominating the field once again. Ingram had seven tackles and a sack in a losing effort.
Kansas City Chiefs 34, Oakland Raiders 20
Philadelphia Eagles 35, New England Patriots 28
Carolina Panthers 41, New Orleans Saints 38
Indianapolis Colts 10, Pittsburgh Steelers 45
