NFL Gamecock Roundup: Clowney and Ingram's Sack-sational Sunday

Washington Redskins 24, Chicago Bears 21
Alshon Jeffery, once again doing it up big in a loss. Alshon had six catches for 107 yards and a touchdown, leading his team in receptions and receiving yards.

San Francisco 49ers 10, Cleveland Browns 24
Only one punt return for Bruce Ellington in this one, but it was a doozy. One return for 36 yards, one of the longest he's had in some time. He also had one kick return for 21 yards.

Seattle Seahawks 35, Baltimore Ravens 6

Atlanta Falcons 0, Carolina Panthers 38
Panthers are pretty good this season, eh? And this time, it's not just because the NFC South is bad! I mean, it is bad, but still. Our man Patty DiMarco was helpless to stop the bloodshed, catching two passes for 15 yards. Stay strong, D-Man.

Buffalo Bills 20, Philadelphia Eagles 23
No Stephon Gilmore in this one due to injury. Get some Icy-Hot on that shoulder, Stephon!

Pittsburgh Steelers 33, Cincinnati Bengals 20

New Orleans Saints 24, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17

Indianapolis Colts 16, Jacksonville Jaguars 51

San Diego Chargers 3, Kansas City Chiefs 10
A fine day for Melvin Ingram and the Chargers defense. Unfortunately, the same can't be said about their offense, but that's not Ingram's problem. He finished the day with two tackles, including one for a loss, a sack, and two QB hits. That's the kind of Ingram performance the Chargers can use on a regular basis.

Tennessee Titans 8, New York Jets 30
No kicks for Ryan Succop! Not even for an extra point. Rest that boot up, Ryan!

Detroit Lions 14, St. Louis Rams 21
Blegh. Eck. Ew. Jared Cook, just one catch? For eleven yards? That's not very productive at all, and it makes me sick. Now Devin Taylor, there's a man who know how to make pla- wait, only one tackle from Devin Taylor?! Come on you guys, this was a Gamecock versus Gamecock matchup! There's expectations, for heaven's sake.

Oakland Raiders 15, Denver Broncos 12
Now Darian Stewart, that's a man who always produces. Four tackles and a pass deflection? That earns him a hardy handshake and a dime to buy himself an ice cream cone at Schwartz' Pharmacy. Here, take another nickel too, son, and pick me up a glass bottle of Coca-Cola and the evening edition of the newspaper.

Dallas Cowboys 7, Green Bay Packers 28

New England Patriots 27, Houston Texans 6
The Texans may not have won the war, but Jadeveon Clowney's battle ended in massive victory. Clowney had seven, SEVEN tackles and two sacks, in addition to two tackles for a loss and two additional QB hits. I daresay that the man has found his home in New England's backfield. Johnathan Joseph had a rather quiet night, with just six tackles and a pass deflection from him. Yawn.
